This document describes how I installed and configured OpenSuSe 10.0 on a Samsung X06 laptop.

Installing OpenSuSE was without problems (I used the DVD made available recently). The installer proposed to shrink the Windows partition. Also partitions for Swap, Root and Home were proposed. I added some packages I'd like and the installation was carried out without any problems.

The following hotkeys work out of the box:
setkeycodes 74 130 setkeycodes 75 131and add the following to /etc/X11/XModmap:
